Internationally, Henan Guoji responded to the national call of Going Out actively and implemented the business strategy of “Rooting in Central China, Radiating the Whole Country and Going Abroad”. Henan Guoji started to explore the African market as early as in 1999, invested and operated Sierra Leone Guoji Industry and Trade Zone in 2003. Since then, Henan Guoji officially rooted in Africa. In 2009, as the first private enterprise to reach cooperation with China Africa Development Fund, the two parties started to jointly develop the African market.
In order to further develop the African market and expand Group’s international trade business, Henan Guoji Supply Chain Co., Ltd. was established in 2013. Henan Guoji Supply Chain Co., Ltd. is a professional company focusing on supply chain management, international trade, and overseas warehouse service under Henan Guoji Group.We’re committed to building an efficient and stable supply chain system between China and Africa, maximizing product quality, service awareness, and customer experience. Currently, Guoji Supply Chain is mainly focused on exports to Zambia, Mozambique, Sierra Leone, Uganda, Malawi and other countries in Africa, and the products exported include vehicles and auto parts, machinery and equipment, building materials, furniture and home appliances etc.

Project Overview
Sierra Leone Guoji Industry & Trade Zone was jointly invested by Henan Guoji and the Ministry of Industry & Trade of the Republic of Sierra Leone in 2004. Located in the capital city—Freetown, the zone combines production, warehousing, logistics, trade and services, bonded, and integrated office. It is the largest and best equipped investment zone in Sierra Leone. Currently, dozens of companies have been stationed, operating in good condition. Presently, there are 16 companies in the Zone operating more than 20 kinds of producing, manufacturing and trade business, including the colorful roofing tile factory, the plastic steel windows and doors factory, the compound tile factory and the showroom for building materials and furniture operated by Sierra Leone Guoji Investment and Development Co., Ltd.as well as the oxygen factory, acetylene factory, mattress factory, bags assemble factory, machinery parts producing and processing factory, window curtain factory, agricultural machinery and equipment assemble factory,etc.that are operated by the enterprises stationed in the Zone. Almost all the factories and stores in the zone are occupied.
The construction and investment of the zone has received great support from Sierra Leone government and the local population. The then president visited the zone four times and all members of the Cabinet also repeatedly visited the zone. In 2006, Sierra Leonean President Tejan Kabbah specially made his trip to Henan Guoji in Zhengzhou. In 2008, Sierra Leonean President Ernest Bai Koroma visited China after he took office, and met with the President of Henan Guoji Mr. Tongshan Sheng.
